Curiosity Modi | Olena Bridge, where the architectural gravity challenge is

Curiosity Modi | Olena Bridge, where the architectural gravity challenge is
"
The municipality of Palignano has a unique and incredible construction structure, it is Olena Bridge. Built-in still, its vertical height appears distance. It was found between Della Wall, Paolo and Atquau, and soon was between Paleo and Sastola, between Prague.

The bridge was built upto 1522 and was directly sought by Montkokkoli and Sisolola Podesta, but it was originally emphasized by Fillinson and Luka, to make "bridge" between the Franzian Taskey and "Amelia". The construction was built according to the very advanced standard for bridge-time techniques, in fact the arcade is a parallel shape, and although it holds a great load of weight, its stability is easy and the idea of light.

Why was this made? The fact is that many wires are related to work, in fact, allowing all archives to load up to pure compression, which can not compete with the stone to eliminate conventional ingredients. For this architectural search, columns were not needed for weight gain only.

It is the same as many special places in our apple, as well. The popular story is set in the beginning of the fifteenth century, and it says that on the bridge in a storm, it is expected that the dark night is expected by the help of sound, because a bridge has been thrown away.

Curiosity Modenesi | The 4 things you did not know about the Enzo Ferrari Museum

it is one of the most modern architectural structures in Italy and its peculiarities are covered by the large yellow cap known as "bonnet". Here are the 5 curiosities that you would never have expected in the Enzo Ferrari Museum

It is one of the most modern architectural structures in Italy and its peculiarities are covered by the large yellow cap known as "bonnet". On this trip to the Enzo Ferrari Museum we will discover the 5 curiosities you would never have expected:

A NAUTIC COVERAGE . The large yellow roof that is noticed at a distance of tens and tens of meters is not a simple cover, but has been thought and created within a nautical canyon. It is large 3,300 square feet and is capable of enduring the most typical and terrible underwater activities such as air currents and different pressure grips.

RECORD CABLES. The ventricular wall at the entrance to the Gallery is now known to all, but less well-known are the studies of physics and mathematics adotates. In fact, think that each single glass-chamber is supported by steel cables that would support up to 40 tons.

ENERGY SAVING . All the museum complex has been built with high energy savings to allow for high environmental sustainability. In fact, the project follows the principles of bioclimatic and has been realized with the most avant-garde materials. To improve the well-being of visitors there is a geothermal plant powered by radiant heating systems, solar thermal panels produce hot water and the lighting of exposed areas without direct natural lighting is powered by photovoltaic panels.

MIRROR IN HISTORY . When he was chosen, among Jan Kaplicky's many proposed projects, his idea was based on this decision. In fact, the Prague architect wanted to create a structure in which the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari could be mirrored, and at the same time it was encircled, almost embedded, in the yellow of the "bonnet".

YELLOW COLOR . The choice of yellow is twofold, in fact the true color of the Ferrari is yellow in the background of the shield, but also because it is the color of the city hosting the museum. Enzo Ferrari was very attached to Modena and for this reason he chose the Yellow Modenese between the various yellow tones.

Curiosità Modenesi | Il giovane Enzo Ferrari, quando nacque la passione

Curiosità Modenesi | Il giovane Enzo Ferrari, quando nacque la passione

Enzo Ferrari is not only Modenese, but world-class, of speed and engines, but not everyone knows that his passion was born very soon and that his youth was all covered by the word "racing". On February 20, 1898, Enzo Anselmo Ferrari was registered at the Registry of Modena, but the baby was born two days before, but the family could not leave home due to the great snowfall.
What fascinates Enzo Ferrari's figure is certainly his humble origins, just think that his father owned a workshop and was working with metal carpentry. He too had done himself, and over time he had taken up to 30 people in his workshop, unaware that his son would get even bigger results.
The first love of Enzo Ferrari for the engines took place very soon, ie in 1908 when he was 10 years old. That year he ran to Bologna circuit along Emilia Street, and his father along with Enzo's brother Alfredo led him to attend the race. Enzo was impressed by both Felice Nazzaro who won the race, but even more so by Vincenzo Lancia who made the fastest lap, founder of the homonymous car.
His life was trampled on in 1916 as a result of the death of his father and brother, then the following year that he enlisted in arms, and finally in 1918 when he tried to enter Fiat to crown his dream but did not come taken. So it is assumed by a small company in Turin, as a car-tester. The big turning point for Ferrari will however come in 1919 when he moved to Milan to work at the National Mechanical Buildings, he will pass from pilot test to debut in the race Parma - Poggio di Berceto. From that moment on, history became legend.

Curiosità Modenesi | Perché Enzo Ferrari scelse il Cavallino come simbolo?

The pony is the symbol of Ferrari, an internationally recognized brand, but why did Enzo Ferrari choose just that to represent his stable?

it is hard to imagine that Enzo Ferrari, when he chose the Cavallino as a symbol for his red, really thought that design would make the difference between a sports car and a luxury sports car. Yet that simple black horse on the yellow field explains to himself how a Ferrari can cost up to a million euros as it happened to Enzo Ferrari, and that specimen with American specifications was sold for 2.7 million euros . Why did Ferrari choose the pony as a symbol of his company?

Although he does not know if he has done it for superstition or imitation, Drake's choice of the car's symbol was a choice of glorious inheritance. In the sense that earlier that was the symbol of the brave air rider Francesco Baracca, the most important of his era even decorated with the prestigious gold medal. Unfortunately, Baracca died in Montello after having won 34 air duels.

The pony was drawn on the carling of his plane, but by the time the two did not exchange the symbol of people. Things went differently. In fact, it all happened on June 17, 1923 when on the Circuit of Savio, Ferrari surprise everyone with a great victory at his first race. At the end of the race he received the compliments from a major count, or Enrico Baracca, the father of the hero who fell five years earlier. The count complimented Ferrari, but the merit of the horse's legacy was the Mother of the Hero of the Sky, Pauline.

The meeting between Drake and Paolina took place in Ferrara during a commemoration of her son. One can think that Paolina had seen in Enzo Ferrari many of the gifts and much of Francis's value. And it was probably for these reasons that he suggested to Drake to use on his cars the symbol of the rampant pony of his son. Yet a modest touch in all of this is there, in fact Ferrari accepted this symbol in a good way, but added a yellow field that would forever remember his hometown, Modena.

Curiosity Modenesi Why is Ravarino calling this way?

Curiosity Modenesi | Why is Ravarino calling this way?
Such an ancient story in Ravarino could only imagine it, and instead it is a story that has determined the history not only of this municipality but of the Modena area

Curiosity Modenesi | Where do you find Remains of Roman Mutina in Modena?
June 27, 2017
Ravarino is a country of 6,000 souls located within the Union of Sorbara, and its history differs from that of other neighboring countries from its origins. In fact, scholars found in its territory archaeological finds that testify to human settlements since prehistoric times. This is a rare discovery compared to the other towns in Lower Modena, and even more important in Roman times, during which Ravarino seems to have played a leading role in the relationship between Mutina and its neighbors.

In fact, the first written document bearing its name is later later and dates back to March 27, 1002, written by the Abbey of Nonantola where Ravarino appears already in its present form. It is necessary to emphasize this because the most cautious readers of the #curiositamodenesi rubric are now accustomed to seeing the various names of the common people change from the first documents that mention them. And not so rarely the name changes are marked.

The fact that the name Ravarino was already present in 1002 means that it was heavily rooted in the territory, otherwise we would have had documents that would report it differently depending on the occasion. Which is one of the most common situations. That is why it is believed that the name was given in the late-imperial period, or in any case during the Middle Ages. And here the historians divide, in fact, there are those who derive it from the Latin word "rapa" which describes the plant probably cultivating on that territory. Or it could come from another Latin word "rava" meaning ravine or muddy. Quest '

Curiosity Modenesi Gundeberga, the mysterious woman of medieval Modena

Curiosity Modenesi | Gundeberga, the mysterious woman of medieval Modena
„This is the most mysterious woman in Modena, who was so important to be the only present in the cathedral crypt. But why is it there?“

Curiosity Modenesi | Gundeberga, the mysterious woman of medieval Modena

Descending to the crypt of the cathedral of Modena are various elements of great interest, in fact in addition to the body of San Geminiano, we find on the right side a group of statues including the Madonna della Pappa with Sant'Anna. Alongside this sculptural group, there is an inscription on a very ancient stone in the wall, in Latin, which tells of a woman known as Gundeberga. There is no news of this woman, except for the fact that it was of longobard origin and that she died on June 12, 570 after Christ.

The peculiarity of this tombstone is that it contains next to the date the name of the consuls present at that time. It was tradition during the republic, but also the imperial period of Rome, adding to the progressive dating also the name of the consuls of that period. It was a pity that in 570 Rome had been defeated and the Longobards had taken control over the Emilian territories. Yet a consul is indicated, which was probably determined by the fact that it had been so traditionally so that the tradition was to be maintained.

Yet the greatest mystery that surrounds this woman is not so much the dating, but its very presence. In fact, the cathedral is located, as you will know, over the Roman necropolis, so it is normal that there is a tombstone on this ground. Yet this is the only plaque that was kept in that place during the three phases of the cathedral, namely the three cathedrals of Modena, of which the present cathedral is only the last of its buildings.

Moreover, the name of this woman has always been linked to another fact, namely being pious and good. And in fact we already know in Modena a "good woman" or Bonissima. Traditionally Bonissima is both the statue placed on Piazza Grande on the Municipal Palace, and generically the name given to women who have helped the community. According to tradition, Bona Donna would have been a woman who would have fomented the Modena in a famine and it might be that this legend refers to Gundeberga himself. And then the tradition that then led to the statue of the Bonissima would have originated from the Lombard period
